Yes. Creative works are often the product of many participants. Of course you should own the copyright to the work you post, or have express permission from the copyright holder to use it.
If you painted a painting, you already own the copyright. If you worked on a project with others, please get the permission of the project leader/owner. By uploading the content you’re telling us that you have permission. We won’t police this from our end, but will look into any complaints and may temporarily remove content while we sort out the issues.
On your profile page you should indicate what role you took in the work presented. People can decide for themselves how much of the piece is ‘your’ work. If your beautiful lighting made a movie scene glow, you should be proud of your work and we hope people will have a chance to see it. If you designed a house that others built, of course we'd love to see a picture of it.
